Are you thinking of getting married outside? Exchanging your vows in the sun, then dancing the night away under the stars? Gone are the days of simply choosing between the church or the registry office, nowadays people can get hitched almost anywhere they wish and many are opting for the open air. Fairy lights, picnic blankets, wild flowers, vintage rugs and hay bails, there is so much romance in an outdoor wedding it’s easy to see why so many people dream of one. Due to an old English law which says ceremonies must take place in a building with a roof (canvas doesn’t count) many people mistakenly think they can’t get married outside. However by keeping the legal side separate (signing the paperwork at a registry office) then having a blessing on the big day, couples are able to have the outdoor wedding they’ve always dreamt of. Do I need a videographer? I’m sure this is a question many of you will be asking yourselves. Well, the answer, in our opinion is definitely YES! Everyone hires a photographer to capture all those moments that you’ll cherish forever, but the thing a photographer cannot capture is the full emotion of the moment and day. The father of the bride brimming with pride and joy as he walks his little girl down the aisle, the embarrassing stories told by the best man and best of all the heartfelt vows of love and devotion you’ll  both make to each other during your ceremony. Not only will these beautiful moments be captured on film for you to treasure forever, but also all the other great moments from the day that you may miss whilst mingling with your guests; the joy and laughter being share amongst your family and friends, your bridesmaids’ faces as they walk down the aisle or possibly even your gran throwing some shapes on the dance floor! I know from my wedding day that the most important part of the day; our vows are one of the moments that is a bit blurry because it just whizzes by so quickly and there is just so much to take in.
